Taking on the Big Apple

Keller and I decided to spend the week with daddy in NYC. A little nerve-racking since this required taking an 8 week old out in very public places and in all types of planes, trains and automobiles. Thankfully, MKB is a rockstar. He did not utter a peep on our early morning flight up, he's been a pro on the subway and he's "dealing with" taxi cabs (by far his least favorite of the three - perhaps he dislikes the stuffy car smell and their erratic driving).

As for mom and dad, we are quickly adapting to life on the go. We have mastered nursing on park benches, changing diapers in very small places and keeping a loud little guy (somewhat) quiet so as not to thoroughly infuriate everyone around us. So far our journey has included a long walk through central park, a visit to FAO Schwartz, lunch at the Shake Shack and dinner with two of our favorite people (Roxy Bargoz and "Dougy Fresh" Tedeshi).
